FAITH EVANS RELEASES NEW VIDEO FOR “I DESERVE IT” FEATURING MISSY AND SHARAYA J

NEW DEREK BLANKS DIRECTED VIDEO FEATURES SURPRISE CAMEO APPEARANCES BY TERRELL OWENS AND STEVIE J

“I Deserve It” is the new single and video release from Grammy Winner Faith Evans featuring Missy Elliott and Sharaya J. The Derek Blanks directed video is the first release from Evans eighth album and first new studio record in four years, Incomparable. The album is set for a fourth quarter 2014 release via Evans own Prolific Music Group in partnership with BMG Artist Services.

The video which showcases Evans beauty and talent as a performer takes place in a club where Evans, Elliott and Sharaya J are all being pursued by a series of male suitors. However, there is a special guy who holds back as all the other admirers fall away and then he makes his move on Evans.

The video which was shot in Atlanta this summer also features a number of cameos including one by Love & Hip Hop Atlanta star Stevie J. Stevie J is a former music producer for Evans when they were both associated with Bad Boy Records. The video is already in heavy rotation at Vh1…

Currently celebrating a 20-year career in the music industry, Evans is a multiplatinum Grammy Award winner, New York Times best-selling author and TV producer. She has released three platinum-certified albums (Faith, Keep the Faith and Faithfully), the gold-certified The First Lady and the holiday staple A Faithful Christmas. She was awarded a Grammy for Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group in 1998 for ‘I’ll Be Missing You,” the homage to her late husband and hip-hop legend Notorious B.I.G. Among some of her most recent accomplishments, Evans serves as a co-creator/executive producer on the hit-reality docu-series franchise R&B Divas and in 2014 received a Grammy nomination in the Best R&B Album category for Faith Evans R&B Divas.
