Fueled By Ramen recording group A Rocket To The Moon has announced details of their first-ever North American headline tour. The “On Your Side” tour will launch on March 15th at The Chance in Poughkeepsie, New York, and then continue through 32 cities through late April. Tickets will go on sale starting January 15th at www.arockettothemoon.net.
The “On Your Side” tour is being sponsored by http://www.musicskins.com, Snakes & Suits and The Keep A Breast Foundation.
The dates follow the recent release of A Rocket To The Moon’s acclaimed EP, “THE RAINY DAY SESSIONS.” Available exclusively via iTunes, the 5-track EP features new versions of songs originally found on the band’s 2009 debut album, “ON YOUR SIDE,” recorded with female bluegrass group Larkin Poe and award-winning producer Dan Hannon (Manchester Orchestra). Among the highlights of “THE RAINY DAY SESSIONS” is a country and bluegrass tinged take on the band’s hit single, Like We Used To, as well as a creative cover of Beyoncé’s classic Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It).
The band will stay connected to their fans while on the road via the newly relaunched site on the Cisco EOS platform at www.arockettothemoon.net.
The upcoming headline tour follows the band’s breakthrough 2010, a busy year which included sold out tours alongside both All Time Low and Hanson, as well as a recent slate of holiday-themed radio concerts with fellow label mates Paramore.
